Really enjoying your music. I'm on 'Grasshoppers Three' at the moment. I would have made comment while listening to the first one, but I was caught in a spasm of involuntary thigh slapping!
Oh... It's coming back.... Yeehaa!
Seriously though, really like your music. Very different and easy to listen to.
Wow, I knew you looked familiar. Where do I start? I learned the song "Oh Death" from CVB, and your accordion added so much to that "Traditional Romanian Song".....LOL...isn't that what you guys said it was in the liner notes? But you sent me on a journey to find the real origin of it. Can even now recite lyrics from that album, especially "Eye of Fatima".
And though I like Turqoise, I don't wear too much of it 'cause I don't wanna look like Grace Slick....LOL.
Shalom!
Bette
Chris, long time no speak. You will find to be relevant to our earlier discussions about the "taxonomy" of music a recent blog by FaThEaD that picks up where we left off. I think your input at his blog would enlighten and extend this discussion. Cheers, TCC
Chris [duplicate of my query at your personal page],
I have been developing what, to me, is a key point about the the difference between the "old" and the "new" in extending the knowledge-space[for lack of a better term] on the web, with particular focus on music [and everything that music touches - which is EVERYTHING].
I think for music discovery and appreciation to make real progress in the digital era of the Long Tail, web-based communities such as fuzz need to develop a new "wiki" approach to content development and find ways for better data management so the input is linked and developed. Any ideas?

In this connection, please refer to my blog on David Brook's Op-Ed About Music and The Segmented Society and your considered response and added perspectives.
